991-BK, 992-BK TROUBLESHOOTING

T 1. IF CARTRIDGE FAILS TO PRINT OR IF IT PRINTS ONLY FOR A SHORT TIME:

1. Remove cartridge from printer.

2. Hold tissue over printhead and blow into cartridge through filling hole until ink flows from printhead into tissue.

3. Reload cartridge and prime again.

T 2. IF CARTRIDGE STILL FAILS TO PRINT:

1. Remove cartridge from printer.

2. Wipe metal part of cartridge tissue.

3. Closely check white contact points on metal.(Magnifying glass is best.)

If white contact points have small marks, cartridge is damaged & not usable.

NOTE: always load/unload cartridge carefully. Never touch printhead or metal part with hard object.

Recover ink into bottle for next time.

T 3. IF PRINTING HAS WHITE LINES EVEN AFTER REPEATED PRINTHEAD CLEANING:

1. Remove cartridge from printer.

2. Wipe metal part of cartridge.

3. Closely check white contact points on metal. (Magnifying glass is best.)

If any white contact points have small marks, print quality cannot be improved. Accept print quality from this cartridge or recover ink into bottle for next cartridge.

NOTE: always load/unload cartridge carefully. Never touch printhead or metal part with hard object.
